Srila Prabhupada's Poetry - Vrndavane Bhajana - Pure Kirtana Replaces Radios & Newspaper

(1)
kirtanera anga sudhu nahe dhaka-dhola
adhunika dharaya nahe kirtanera rola

However, this performance of congregational chanting is not limited only to the traditional form that is accompanied by beating on drums. All modern communication systems can be used, even if they do not currently transmit the sweet sound of pure kirtana.

(2)
hari-sevara anukula sakala-i madhava
tri-jagatera bhokta haya ekala yadava

All things truly useful for the service of Hari are spiritually nondifferent from Lord Madhava, for in actuality the sole enjoyer of everything in the three worlds is Lord Yadava.

(3)
mayara vaibhava yata "rediora" sabda
kirtanera dvara sada kara taha stabdha

Maya's deluding potency is perfectly expressed in the blaring mundane noise of the radios we hear everywhere. Just put an end to all this nonsense by replacing it with continual broadcasts of transcendental kirtana.

(4)
mayara kac-kaci saba samvadera patra
kirtana karaha tahe jagate sarvatra

All the mundane newspapers endlessly carry trivial, intolerable chattering about maya's endless distractions. Just counteract all this by publishing the Lord's glories and distributing these newspapers everywhere in the world.
