Prabhupada, why do you listen to your own lectures?
In the morning Prabhupada would give class, and sometimes we would go to his room afterwards when he would listen to a tape recording of his class. Once we were listening to the tape when Prabhupada stopped it and said, "So, what do you think of this point?" and we discussed the point. One devotee was bewildered and said, "Prabhupada, why do you listen to your own lectures?" I thought that was a funny question. Prabhupada said, "Because I did not speak them." The way he said that was wonderful. It was incredible.
